These were fairly close to where we saw Gerenuks before, but this time we saw a male and a female instead of two males (as Agoi pointed out).

Gerenuks are related to gazelles and have almost the same color pattern as Impalas, but have long spindly legs and necks. They stand on their hind legs to browse desert vegetation up to six feet high.
